Amy discovered her passion and dreams for lavender and flowers at Windy Ridge on an afternoon stroll in 2021 through the family property; which would ultimately become Windy Ridge Farms.
 

What began as a love of gardening, quickly grew from a sense of community among fellow lavender and flower farmers. As chief grower and CEO of Windy Ridge Farms, Amy focuses her energy on growing the best quality local flowers possible in tough Central Oregon climate conditions. Inspired by the beauty and simplicity of nature, she finds daily joy in sharing it with others through fresh flowers & lavender products.
 

A retired educator with roots in Michigan and her heart firmly planted in Central Oregon, Amy raised two children along with her husband Scott in the Bend & Tumalo, Oregon. She loves connecting with other local businesses and entrepreneurs and is a passionate advocate for local growers, farmers, artists, and educators.
